The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of tea etiquette education on early childhood attention and self-regulation and thereby to provide some basic data to promote people's understanding of the importance of tea etiquette education. For this purpose, the researcher sampled 12 pre-schoolers from 'L' kindergarten and 12 from 'P' kindergarten located in Gyeonggi-do. The first 12 children were the test group, while the latter were the control group. In each group, 6 children were boys, while the other 6 were girls. Both groups were pre-tested for tea etiquette. The test group was educated about tea etiquette for 12 weeks in sessions that lasted for about 40 minutes. Then, both groups were post-tested. Summing up, tea etiquette education helped pre-schoolers enhance their attention spans and learn how to control their emotions. In all, tea etiquette education had positive effects on early childhood growth and development.
