조선 전기의 程朱學 수용

The Interpretation of Neoconfucianism in 15, 16th Century

The neoconfucianism was received in 14th century and popularized in 15, 16th century. The Chosun scholars interpretated the Classical Canon and made researches in the neoconfucianism, so the Chosun neocofucianism was formed. A lot of the Classical Canon was published and the scholars researched the Chu Tzu's theory and neoconfucianists. Especialy Jujadaejun(朱子大全), Chu Tzu's writes, had a great influence on the academic world. So many books with notes was writed, Sohakjipju(小學集註), Jujaseojulyo(朱子書節要) and others. The Classical Canon, the four books and three Classics that Chu Tzu reinterpretated, was translated Chinese into Korean. Lihaktongrok(理學通錄), Lee Hwang writed, and Sunghakjipyo(聖學輯要), Lee yi writed, were the typical books at that time. As a result, the Chosun neocofucianusm was formed in late 16th century and the people were under direct or indirect influence of neocofucianism.
