영어관련학과 교과과정 및 운영개선방안 비교연구

A Study on the Undergraduate Curriculum and Management of English-related Department

This study aims at finding ways to improve the efficiency of the undergraduate curriculum and its management of English-related departments in Korea by comparing the curriculum among English-related departments in Korea and other non-English speaking countries. The results reveal that while the departments from Korea are weak and insufficient in areal/cultural studies, the counterpart departments deal with a desirable portion of the area. With the curriculum management, we have to set up a curriculum with new more systematic frame, a track-based one which is designed for providing well-qualified professionals in English related jobs.
