멀티미디어를 통한 효과적 쉐익스피어 교육

Giving a useful and comprehensive multimedia resource for information on William Shakespeare, his life and the Elizabethan Age as well as his plays most frequently studied and performed nowadays, this paper tries to direct the attention of Korean educators and students seeking Shakespeare to the ways which multimedia-aided teaching and learning can dramatically enhance and speed up the process of Shakespeare's textual, scholarly and theatrical study overtaking the traditional readings of printed text in the classroom. Adopting this effective innovative and easy-to-use method, teachers can make students increase their understanding of Shakespeare's plays and his world and also allow them to use it as an independent study and research tool as well as an entertaining way to gain greater understanding and enjoyment of his work. It will bring them new and memorable experience of the dramatic world of Shakespeare in the process go watching video recordings and CD-ROM representations of famous scenes and productions.
