통합적 다문화교육이 유아의 창의성과 편견에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 통합적 다문화교육이 유아의 창의성과 편견에 미치는 영향을 살 펴본 결과는 다음과 같다. 다문화교육은 특별한 주제를 중심으로 일회성으로 이루어지는 것보다 하루일과중에서 수시로 자연스럽게 이루어지며 분리된 하 나의 활동만 제시하는 것이 아니라 생활주체를 중심으로 모든 영역에서 통합 적으로 실시되었을 때 유아의 편견 감소에 더욱 효과적이라고 하겠다 따라서 다문화교육은 대그룹활동과 자유선택활동을 통합하여 교육 하는 것이 유아의 다양한 문화에 대한 이해, 존중, 수용, 다양성, 평등성, 정체성을 가지게 할 뿐 아니라 편견 감소에도 긍정적인 영향을 끼친다고 하겠다. 하지만 이런 통합적 다문화교육에서 창의성에도 궁정적인 영향을 위해서는 다양한 방법으로 생각 하는 기회를 제공하고 창의적으로 표현 할 수 있는 교육을 포함시켜야 할 필 요가 있다고 보아진다.

This study was conducted to determine the effect of integrated multicultural education on creativity and prejudice of children, The test results are as follows. First, the integrated multicultural education provided children with an opportunity to know about various cultures, accept the variety, equality, and identities of multiculture and respect, accommodate, and understand minority cultures, however, relatively short opportunities and times for children themselves to resolve diverse problem situations to represent their opinions prevented the aforesaid education from having a positive effect on the creativity of children. Second, the integrated multicultural education significantly reduced the stereotype of children. This result is analyzed to be produced because the said education included programs enabling children to understand, respect, accommodate multi culture and recognize the variety and equality of minority cultures and have their cultural identities to result in a positive effect on reducing stereotype on the disabilities, capabilities, different cultures, and family members. In summary, the multicultural education will be more effective to reduce the stereotypes of children when it is not applied only once centering around specific topics, but is applied occasionally as daily tasks naturally, and is not provided only as a separate activity but is performed in all of integrated areas. Thus multicultural education not only enables children to understand, respect, accommodate the multiculture, recognize the variety and equality of multiculture and have their own identities, but also has a positive impact on stereotype decrease when in an integrated form of large group activities and free-choice activities. However such an integrated multicultural education further needs to include programs enabling them to think in a various way and represent their thinkings creatively, in order to have a positive effect on their creativity.
