Educational Professions' Need Assessment on Consulting Supervision in Korea

컨설팅장학에 대한 교육전문직의 요구 사항을 분석하여 컨설팅장학을 활성화하기 위한 시사점을 도출하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이 연구에서는 33개 문항으로 구성된 온라인 설문에 응답한 1,042명의 16개 시도교육청 소속 교육전문직을 최종분석 대상으로 삼았다. 컨설팅장학의 지원체제, 컨설팅장학의 주요 영역, 그리고 컨설팅장학 성과에 대한 교육전문직의 요구가 비교적 높은 것으로 나타났다. 초등 교육전문직은 중등 교육전문직보다 컨설팅장학에 대한 요구가 더 높았고, 컨설팅장학을 의뢰한 경험이 있는 교육전문직은 무경험 교육전문직보다 그리고 컨설턴트로 활동한 경험이 있는 교육전문직은 무경험 교육전문직보다 컨설팅장학에 대한 요구가 더 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 마지막으로 컨설팅장학에 대한 업무 수요가 증대됨에 따라 무엇보다도 현행 교육전문직 인원수가 대폭적으로 증원되어야 할 것이다. 교육전문직의 증원 추계 모형과 이에 대한 실증적이고 체계적인 후속연구가 절실히 요청된다.

The purpose of this study was to examine educational professions' need assessment on consulting supervision and its educational implications. 1,042 senior and junior supervisors in Korea were the subjects for the online questionnaire that consisted of 33 items. The findings of the survey on consulting supervision were as follows: First, the educational professions' needs for supporting system, major areas, outcome of the consulting supervision were relatively high. Second, the elementary educational professions' needs of the consulting supervision were higher than the secondary educational professions' needs. Third, the experienced educational professions' needs were higher than no experienced educational professions in school consulting supervision. Finally, bigger demand for consulting supervision has made the increase of the number of educational professions inevitable. The theoretical model and further research on the increase of the number of educational professions should be implemented.
