Sartre’s Theory of Action

This paper will develope Sartre’s concept of action. In order to this work, my main concern is to open Sartre’s work, “Being and Nothingness.” Because this work is not intended to be a definitive account of all of Sartre’s ideas, but rather a clear and through account of that segment of Sartre’s early writings that pertains to an analysis of his concept of action. In this context to make sense out of Sartre’s concept of action I have asked as follow. 1) I have started by asking what a preliminary question to posit Sartre’s concept of action. 2) Human reality is action. 3) Action is intentional. 4) Action is the expression of freedom. We suggest the main characteristics of ontological structure of action as above. Our concern is closed at this point. Although this work, however, another questions are remained yet. Next our paper will be of interest to remained these problems. And it will be critical study about Sartre’s theory of action.
