조선족중소학교에서의 민족정체성교육의 새로운 접근과 대안모색

Reflection and Strategy about Strengthening National Consciousness in the Korean Chinese Middle and Primary Schools

중국 조선족의 민족공동체발전에서 조선족학교의 위치와 작용은 자못 중요하다. 특히 조선족의 민족정체성확립은 학교교육을 떠나서 운운할 수 없을 정도로 학교의 작용이 뚜렷하다. 이 연구는 중국조선족 중소학교학생들의 민족정체성교육의 중요성에 입각하여 민족정체성확립에서의 가장 중심적인 환절인 기초교육(소학교, 초급중학교, 고급중학교)단계에서의 민족정체성교육의 새로운 접근방법과 대안을 모색하는데 초점을 맞추었다. 이를 위해 첫 부분에서는 개혁개방 후 복잡다단한 중국조선족사회의 변화실태에 비추어 민족정체성교육의 당위성과 필요성을 살펴보고 두 번째 부분에서는 중국경내 조선족학교에서의 민족정체성교육의 특수성과 새로운 접근방법 및 현재 조선족학교 민족정체성교육에 존재하는 문제점을 짚어보았다. 마지막으로 학교의 정규교과목을 통한 민족정체성교육, 비정규과정을 통한 민족정체성교육, 사회참여 속에서의 민족정체성교육 등 세 가지 방면으로 조선족학교민족정체성교육의 대안을 제시하였다.

National education has been playing a crucial role in the development of Korean national community within China, especially in the national consciousness formation and development of Korean Chinese. Maybe under these circumstances we may say that middle and primary schools are the main routes for cultivating Korean Chinese national consciousness. This paper aims to probe the approaches and measures about training the national consciousness in Korean Chinese middle and primary schools, therefore providing reference for national culture education in Korean Chinese schools. For this reason, this paper firstly analyzes the necessity and importance of Korean Chinese national consciousness according to the changes of Korean Chinese society after Reform and Opening-up, secondly investigates the particularity, targeted aims and problems in fostering the national consciousness education in Korean Chinese schools, lastly puts forward the implementation scheme for educating national consciousness from three aspects of regular courses, non-regular course and social participation.
