A Study on Gender Differences in College Student's Ethical Consumption

This study investigated the differences of the ethical consumption according to the gender of the college students. The samples were 716 college students. An average and standard deviation, t-test were used for the statistical analysis. The main results of this study were as follows. First, the ethical consumptions at the commercial transaction showed statistical differences in the damage, misuse and illegality. Second, the ethical consumptions for the contemporaneous mankind showed statistical differences in the fair trade consumption and the consumption for contribution and sharing, the socially conscious consumption, the local consumption. Third, the ethical consumptions for the future generation showed statistical differences in use of the green product and disposal of the green products.
