The effects of psychological and family related variables on a sense of crisis of middle-aged

The purposes of this research were to investigate the general trends of a sense of crisis of dual-earning, middle-aged men and to find out the effects of psychological and family variables on it. For this study, the data of 490 Korean and Chinese men were analysed, The results are as follows. The general trends of a sense of crisis of dual-earning, middle-aged men are low level in all of Korean, Chinese tow group(Han and Chosun-race). The most important varisble that affect on a sense of crisis is a burden of parent supporting, In psychological variables, ego-identity is meaningful in Korean and Chosun-race significantly and sex role attitude is in Chinese and Chosun-race, In family related variables, parent role stress in Korean and satisfaction of couple relationship in Chineses two group are significant.
