Everyone has its own complexion which makes him/her look better. An analysis of color type which suits best for the face can be divided into Color Marketing and Image Marketing. In fact, it has strongly emerged in beauty and fashion industries. In the past, an ordinary beauty salon just focuses on finding the perfect color for a customer’s facial features and color of base makeup. Now, it is applied to all makeup styles. It maximizes strength and minimizes weakness by mixing colors in consideration of textures. The ultimate goal of all these activities is the ‘Pursuit of Beauty.’ More specifically, it refers to the ‘outer beauty.’ This study investigates the difference in makeup behavior depending on personal color awareness patterns. In fact, it is closely related with colors. Depending on whether or not a respondent had personal color diagnosis, shade makeup stage as well as skin expression are also observed. In makeup, depending on the personal color awareness, the portion of shade makeup is high. In terms of the skin expression method whether or not a respondent had personal color awareness and diagnosis, if she is aware of her personal color, her skin is brightened. In addition, the importance of personal color was high among the respondents who didn’t have personal color diagnosis. In terms of correlations between color and makeup, as the importance and interest in color increased, makeup frequency also increased. As color became more important in shade makeup, the artists’ satisfaction increased as well. In addition, as coloring became more important, color itself also became more important in shade makeup.
