A Study on Investment Behaviors. -Comparison between Households in Early Stage and Middle Stage

The purpose of this study is to compare the actual investment behaviors of urban households between early and middle stage. 360 households in Kwangju were analyzed and some statistical methods were used. Major findings were as follows; 1. In the early stage and middle stage, investment behavior was significantly different according to debts, assets, total investment amounts, ratio of monthly average investment, cognition level on investment, and reasons of the selection on investment objectives. 2. The investment behaviors were revealed as follows. 1) In the early stage, the ratio of monthly average investment was different according to the job status of housewives. And the total investment amounts were significantly different according to job status of housewives, education level of housewives and assets amounts. 2) In the middle stage, the ratio of monthly average investment was different according to debts amounts. But the total investment amounts was according to assets amounts.
