A Study on the Expenses of Auto Purchase and Maintenance(2) - With the special reference to the analysis of the financial strengths and related variables of Auto -

This study aims to investigate the financial strengths, the expenditure patterns of household’s finance, and the influential variables on the purchase and maintenance in automobiles. The important findings from the data based on the samples of household with cars on the Korea Household Pannel Study by Daewoo Institute. 1) The financial strengths of households with cars were good than those of general households. 2) Households with cars were more overspending than those of general households. 3) Variables affecting to the expenses of auto purchase were household’s net assets, in the case of new cars and the evacuation of car. 4) Variables affecting to the expenses of auto maintenance were the job of household’s head, household’s income and the evacuation of car.
