作家と家族 - 三島文学の根底にあるもの

Yukio Mishima(1925-1970. Real name is Kimitake Hiraoka.) talked about himself all the time from he set out by professional writer, and most important materials of his works are himself and his family. Therefore we need to know well about Mishima’s life and his family relation to understand his works. It is well-konwn that Mishima is born by immature baby and grew up overprotected by his grandmother. Mishima, the eldest grandson by the eldest son, caused trouble between grandmother and mother. Mishima had a sense of superiority because his grandmother came from a distinguished family, but suffered from an inferiority complex about grandfather who is a commoner by birth. Azusa Hiraoka, Mishima’s father had a aspiration to make his son a high-ranking government official. On the other hand Mishima had a strong attachment heart about mother, and extraordinary affection about younger sister which passed over brother and sister relation. Therefore, in this treatise, I investigated some parts about grandmother in priority first as part of research about Mishima’s family.
