Adolescents’ Friendship According to Sex and Grade

This study investigated the general trends of adolescents’ friendship and the effect of their sex and grade on adolescents’ friendship. The subjects were 257 fifth grade adolescents from 3 elementary school and 258 second grade adolescents from 3 junior middle school at Kwangju. Questionnare method was used to collect the datas. The results showed the significant effect of sex and grade on adolescents’ friendship. Existence of friend in the internet world, stress with friends, type of favorite friend, favorite place to go with friend, expression of friendship, common topic with frinds were different according to sex and grade of adolescents.
