The family ethics of the overseas Korean women in China

The purposes of this research were to analyse the conditions of family ethics of the overseas Korean women in China and to propose the characteristics as compared with women in Korea. For these purposes, the data of 500 Korean women in China were analysed. The results are as follows. The Korean women in China generally preserve traditional ethics, that reveals same tendencies with women in Korea. The change of socio-economic conditions are found to have impact on transition of Korean family ethics in China more than in Korea. The differentiations of Korean family ethics among generation bring about conflicts and confusion especially in young generation in China.
