The Social Activity Conditions of Korean Woman Leaders Abroad in China

The purposes of this research were to analyse the activity conditions of Korean woman leaders abroad in China and to propose the community developmental altervatives through the approach on changes and its causes of their social status. 32 leaders were in depth interviewed about experiences of social activities as woman leaders. They adapted to double-sided cultures and established identity of Korean in China against ambivalence. Especially their opportunity of social activities were induced from ethnic caring consciousness, but it was challenged extremely because of spreading capitalism after reformation and open door policy in China. So effective institutional endeavor were demanded for resisting power against cultural shock in China. Furthermore relation formulating framework and strategical contents must be established for young generation.
