Recently, it has become more important to protect the safety and security of trade under global trade liberalization and increasing terrorism activities. After 9.11 terror attack, many customs systems have been introduced focusing on the United States and World Custom Organization(WCO). WCO has designed standards to secure and to facilitate the ever-growing flow of goods in international commerce. These standards are set forth in the SAFE Framework of Standards, which was adopted by the WCO Council at its 2005 Sessions and the SAFE Framework incorporates the concept of the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator), and the Council directed the WCO to develop more detailed implementing provisions for the AEO concept. Lately the AEO, cooperation program between customs and traders, considers clearance process as well as the entire of supply chain management to reduce high risk and transaction cost of unsafe. In this study, to research the logistics security trends and AEO system in China. Especially, China as the first trading partner to Korea has imposed AEO in April 2008. So the main purpose of this study is to present the implication and to suggest the utilizations of Chinese execution of AEO.
