운송서비스 교역확대전략에 관한 연구

A Study on the Expansion Strategy of Trade in Transportations Service - Focused on Korea, USA, and China -

최근 서비스무역에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있고 서비스산업의 중요성을 인식함에 따라 선진 국가들은 서비스 발전을 위한 교역확대 전략을 수립하고 있다. 특히 미국은 서비스산업에 가장 먼저 발전시켰고 한국과 중국도 80년대 이후부터 서비스산업 발전에 노력을 기울이기 시작하였다. 비록 한국, 미국, 중국은 서비스산업에서 적지 않은 성과를 거두었고 그에 따라 운송서비스도 크게 발전시키고 있으나 여전히 많은 문제점이 존재하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 한국, 미국, 중국의 운송서비스 현황을 비교분석하였다. 분석결과 한국과 중국은 미국의 선진적인 발전모델을 벤치마킹하여 자국에 적합한 전략을 수용해야 하고, 서비스 무역에 대한 정부의 적극적인 정책개발과 수출지원이 강구되어야 한다. 세부적으로 한국은 운송서비스의 수출확대를 위해 소프트웨어를 강화하고 중국은 물류인프라 구축과 소프트웨어를 동시에 강화하여야 하며 글로벌 운송기업을 육성하여야 한다. 또한 중국은 한국과 미국의 항공운송 서비스의 현황을 분석하여 중국에 적합한 해결방안을 마련하여야 한다.

As the interest of service industry has been increased, most of developed countries have set up the expansion strategies of trade service industries, through realization of the importance of service industry. In particular, U.S.A firstly developed service industries and Korea and China started to show their interest in service industries since 1980. Even Korea, U.S.A, and China achieve many performance in service trades, there are still many problems occurring in this fields. In this regard this study has compared about current status of transportation services in Korea, U.S.A, and China. As a result of analysis, Korea and China should benchmark America’s development model. Therefore, both countries should adopt their own national strategy to suit in each countries’ situation. Also both countries’ government should actively seek the policy development and the export support related to service trade industries. Concretely, in order to expand transportation service exports, Korea should strengthen software; China should build a logistics infrastructure and enhance the software. At the same time, China should improve a global transportation company and prepare Korea and American current status of air transportation. Then provide suitable solutions in China.
