Comparative Analysis of Developed, Developing Country’s Antidumping Measure against China Products - Focusing on Comparing U.S.A. with Turkey -

The global recession triggered by European financial crisis has led many countries to utilize anti-dumping complaints in a bid to protect their local industries. Under trade policy research, anti-dumping research is actively being carried out. Specifically, with the increasing anti-dumping warnings from both the developed and the under-developed economies towards China as an economy, a research on this field is highly needed. This research, different from other prior researches, does not only focus on individual economies but it serves as a comparative analytical study featuring both the developed and the under-developed economies. In this Research paper the decisive factors that lead to the anti-dumping warnings issued against‘Made-In-China’products are drawn into comparison between developed and under-developed economies by means of empirical study analysis. Results of this analytical study shows that as developed economies experience an incremental deficit in trade balance together with decreasing GDP growth rate, the anti-dumping regulation on‘Made-In-China’products is strengthened. An observable phenomenon that is characteristic of under-developed economies shows that with rising unemployment rates and decreasing GDP growth rate, the anti-dumping warnings issued against Made-in-China products gets reinforcement.
