토의식 미술 감상활동이 유아의 창의성에 미치는 영향

Effect of Discussion-based Art Appreciation Activity to child's Creativity

본 연구는 미술 감상교육의 가치를 유아 창의성 개념과 함께 관련 지어 미술 감상활동이 유아의 창의성에 미치는 영향을 실험연구를 통해 검증해보고자 한다. 이를 통해 유아 미술교육과정에서의 감상활동의 교육적 가치를 확인하고, 교육현장에서 적용하기 위한 기초 자료를 마련하는데 도움이 되고자 한다. 본 연구의 연구대상은 사립유치원 2곳에 재원 중인 만 4세와 만 5세 유아이다. 사립유치원을 임의 표집하여 실험집단과 통제집단으로 구분하여, 토의식 미술감상활동을 실시한 집단과 그렇지 않은 집단으로 나눠 유아 창의성 검사를 실시하여 변화량의 집단간 차이로 실험처치의 효과를 검증하였다. 그 결과 토의식 미술감상활동을 실시한 유아집단의 창의성이 긍정적으로 증진함을 확인하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 토의식 미술 감상 활동 경험이 유아의 창의성 증진에 효과가 있으므로 유아교육현장에서 적용할 활동방식이 될 수 있음을 시사한다.

This study is intends to verify the effect of art appreciation activity to child's creativity in connection with the value of art appreciation and the concept of child's creativity, with purposes of clarifying its educational value in the curriculum of art, and providing basic data which could be available to use in the field education. Objects of this study were targeted at 4 and 5 years old children from 2 private kindergartens. In order to verify the effect of experimental treatment according to variations by the group, randomly sampled private kindergartens were divided into experimental and controlling groups to apply discussion-based art appreciation activity. As its result, the group which was applied with discussion-based art appreciation activity was found to show more creativity in a positive way. Consequently, it could be implied that experience in discussion-based art appreciation activity effects on improvement of child's creativity, and therefore, it could be applied to the field education for children.
