TTCT 검사를 활용한 ADHD 성향아동과 일반아동의 창의성 질적 연구

Qualitative analysis of Creativity used TTCT test about children with and without ADHD tendency

본 연구는 조나리, 하주현(2010)의 ADHD 성향아동과 일반아동의 ‘창의적 특성비교 연구에 대한 후속연구이다. ADHD 성향아동과 일반아동의 창의적 사고검사(TTCT, 그림형)에 대한 반응을 질적으로 비교하였다. 연구대상은 충남지역 초등학교 5~6학년 학생들로, TTCT 검사를 실시한 후 담임교사에게 ADHD 선별 평정척도(Conner’s 평정척도)를 의뢰하였고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 ADHD 성향아동 40명, 일반아동 45명을 선발하였다. 대상 아동의 TTCT 검사 반응을 질적 분석한 결과 ADHD성향아동이 일반아동보다 창의적 강점(운동, 환상영역)반응을 더 많이 보였고 특히 환상영역의 주제비교에서는 두드러진 차이를 보였다. 이는 ADHD 성향 아동들이 더 창조적이며 새로운 표상을 잘 함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 TTCT 검사의 3번째 활동에서 ADHD 성향아동은 일반아동보다 더 많은 독창성 보너스 점수를 획득하였다. 이는 ADHD 성향아동들이 기존의 사고에서 탈피하여 새로운 방식으로 문제를 지각하고 유연한 사고를 함을 알 수 있다. 이러한 연구 결과는 그동안 숨겨져 있던 ADHD 성향 아동의 강점, 즉 창의성에 주목하는 계기가 될 것이라고 기대하며, 앞으로 ADHD 아동의 강점 영역을 찾아서 부각시킬 수 있는 적절한 교육을 제공할 수 있는 프로그램 개발을 제안하는 바이다.

This study is a qualitative study on the response about the creativity thinking test of student with and without ADHD tendency. The target students were the 5th and 6th graders in elementary. After the creativity thinking tests, there was a request on ADHD Corners Rating Scale to the teacher and as result, there were selected the ADHD students of 40 and the general students of 45. The test results are the followings. Following analysis of response of originality bonus point at third activity of TTCT, the children with ADHD tendency gain the more bonus point of originality than children without ADHD tendency and children with ADHD tendency have the more strong point about movement. Also there is not difference between children with and without ADHD tendency at fantasy field. But children with ADHD tendency have the more strong point about mystery, imagination than children without ADHD tendency. Throughout the result of study, it is not that teachers and parents consider the behavior of student with ADHD as the problem, able, object of proofreading, but they serve as a momentum to pay attention of creativity, strong point hidden. In addition, when offering a valid education which enhance the strong point of student with ADHD, they occur the change of children's behavior which we expect. Further it contributes to develop the self-concept and serve as a momentum to children.
