이 글은 다문화가정 자녀의 의사소통 향상 방안에 초점을 맞춰 논의를 진행하였다. 의사소통 문제의 가장 근본적인 이유를 ‘문화적 공감대’ 형성이 부족하다는 전제로 ‘문화적 공감대’를 형성해 줄 방법을 ‘문화원형콘텐츠’를 통해 찾고자 했다. 1장에서는 현재 다문화가정 자녀의 현황 및 교육적인 문제에 대해 살펴보고, 2장에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 문화 교육이 필요하며, 문화 교육의 방법적인 측면으로 ‘문화원형콘텐츠’를 제시했다. 3장에서는 문화원형콘텐츠를 활용해서 실제 수업에 사용할 수 있는 학습활동과 수업 지도안을 구성해 보았다. 이 글은 다문화가정 자녀의 의사소통을 위해 언어적인 접근보다는 문화적인 접근이 필요하다고 보았고, 이를 문화원형 콘텐츠라는 교육적 매체를 통해 접근하고자 했다.
This study was conducted to discuss improvements of communication of children from multi-cultural families. On the premise that the lack of ‘a bond of cultural sympathy’ is the most essential reason for their communication problems, this study considered how to form ‘a bond of cultural sympathy’ through ‘cultural archetype contents’. For these objectives, Chapter 1 identified the current state of children from multi-cultural families and their educational problems, and Chapter 2 presented ‘cultural archetype contents’ as a way of cultural education which is needed for settling these problems. Furthermore, Chapter 3 designed learning activities and teaching guidance plans to use for actual classes using cultural archetype contents. In general, this study focused on cultural archetype contents which are education media, since cultural and mental approaches are required more than linguistic approaches for improving communication of children from multi-cultural families.
