유아의 기질이 교사-유아관계에 미치는 영향

The Relationship between Young Children's Temperament and Teacher-Child Relationship by Teacher's Evaluation

본 연구는 유아의 기질과 교사-유아관계 간의 관계를 살펴보는데 있다. D시에 위치한 어린이집 유아 286명을 대상으로 하여 연구변인에 대한 교사평가를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 13.0 프로그램을 통해 상관계수와 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 유아의 기질과 교사-유아관계의 하위요인들은 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 기질과 교사-유아관계 관계에서, 기질은 교사-유아관계를 예측하는 중요한 변인임을 알 수 있었다. 좀 더 구체적으로 교사-유아관계를 예측하는 기질의 하위변인들은 기질의 규칙성, 정서성, 활동성인 것으로 나타났다. 특히 기질의 하위요소인 정서성은 교사-유아관계에 대해 관련 변인 중 가장 많은 설명력을 가지는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between young children's temperament and teacher-child relationship. The subjects were 286 Day care Center children in D city. The collected data were analyzed by Pearson's r and multiple regression using the SPSS/PC Computer Program. The major results of this study were as follows; First, there were significant positive relationship between young children's temperament and teacher-child relationship. Second, young children's temperament was positive factor in predicting teacher-child relationship. In conclusion, the result of this study confirmed that young children's temperament is one of the important factors in predicting teacher-child relationship.
