과학에 기초한 산책활동이 유아의 논리 수학적 지능 및 자연탐구 지능 발달에 미치는 영향

Effect of Integrated Walking Activity based on Studies of Young Children's Logical-mathematical Intelligence and Natural Intelligence

본 연구는 과학에 기초한 산책 통합 활동이 유아의 논리 수학적 지능과 자연탐구 지능의 발달에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구의 대상은 만 4세와 5세 유아 56명이고, 실험집단 유아 28명을 대상으로 8주간에 걸쳐 ‘과학에 기초한 산책활동’을 실시한 후 그 효과를 검증하였다. 논리수학 지능과 자연탐구 지능에서 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 효과가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 즉 과학에 기초한 산책활동은 유아의 다중지능을 향상시켰음을 확인하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect the integrated walking activity based on studies from young children's multiple intelligences. Fifty-six subjects of four to five-year-old children were divided into experimental and control groups. Both groups participated in an 8 week program. The experimental group participated in the integrated walking program while the control group participated in the Korean National Kindergarten Curriculum. The experimental design included a pre-test and post-test. ANCOVA results show that the experimental group children scored significantly higher in the post-test for Logical-mathematical Intelligence and Natural Intelligence.
