The automobile has been used as the most convenient transportation tools since its appearance in late 19 century. The demand of automobile is forecasted to reach 100 millions in 2020 from 69 millions in 2010. 16 Middle East countries are classified into 4 groups by the size of domestic market and by the existence of local production in order to forecast the development strategy of automotive industry in Middle East countries. Korea has maintained the strong relations with Middle East countries in automotive industry by exporting of new and used vehicles in addition to the export of knock down(KD) parts to support local production. The responding strategies of Korea’s automobile industry to meet the changes in Middle East countries are suggested for each group as well as for the major country in this paper. The strategies include Korea’s active commitments to the development of local model, increase of CKD production, in addition to the investment in parts industry, recycling, remanufacturing industry in Middle East counties.
