Nizar Qabbani’, after he experienced the incredible defeat and smashing collapse in the 1967 War, was conversed from the poet writing love and women’s liberation to the poet criticizing to the responsible someone for the defeat with a knife in his mind. Through his many works after the 1967 War, Qabbani did not blame the main enemy Israel but accuse the inside problems of Arab world. Because he thought that the cause of the defeat was in the dictators, the decayed politicians, pro-imperial literary men, not in the intervention of the Western Imperialism that offered the modern weapon to Israel like as the regimes and the politicians insisted. And also he thought that in the background of the preparing and taking part in the war, the Arab traditional and cultural heroism about the war was functioned. So Qabbani began to express his malicious language to the inner Arab world with a knife not to the main enemy Israel. After all we can say that the works of Nizar Qabbani after the 1967 War were on the basis of “the poetics of disclosure and counter-poetics”.
