A Study on the Preferences of Bob Style in Womens of Jeju Island

The purpose of the present study is to provide the information for preferences of Bob styles in women among the 10-50 ages of Jeju island. In this study, 467 reliable survey were analyzed from questionnaires distributed from the March 1 to April 30 in 2011 and by using frequency and an x²-test. As the results, over 50% of the subjects showed as "some know" on Bob styles and the majority was known it through TV and public media. The length of the most preference on Bob styles in objects were middle length (39.8%, N•P=5 cm) and 10-20 ages preferred to Bob styles of long length but 40-50 ages preferred to Bob styles of short length. The most preferred Bob styles of 10 ages were straight possessing much rair (60° graduation + rair) and the most preferred Bob styles of 20 ages were straight possessing some rair (45° graduation), and then Bob styles of wave possessing some rair preferred to ≥30 ages (45° graduation). In the results of the most preferred side hair's Bob styles, 10 ages preferred to horizontal type and 20-50 ages preferred to Bob styles of A line. Ten and 20 ages preferred to straight type in wave changes and the most preferred wave changes of 30-40 ages were 30-50% wave, and then that of ≥50 ages were 50-70% wave. In the preference of front hair style, 10-20 ages preferred to straight type (horizontal type) and 30 ages preferred to slanting line (C type). Also, 40 ages preferred to slanting line with rair (slanting line of straight type) and then ≥50 ages preferred to vertical type (half lift up). Therefore, the result of this survey shows can applied as the guidance of real evidence for ideal Bob styles' coordination.
