갈르와벌레속 (Galloisiana)의 新種을 記載한다. 갈르와벌레속은 귀뚜라미붙이科(Grylloblattidae)에 속하는 종으로 세계적으로 희소한 곤충이다. 우리나라에서는 지금까지 4種이 報告되어 왔으나 이 新種의 추가로 다음 5種이 된다.
A new ice bug species, Galloisiana nodongensis sp. nov., is described from Mt, Gyebang, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, South Korea. This species resembles the G. yuasai and G. odaesanensis. however clearly distinguished from them. The distribution of the Genus Galloisiana is discussed and a key for species is presented.
