장애아동 가족지원 프로그램 연구 동향

A Research Review of Family Support Programs for Children with Disabilities

이 연구는 2002년부터 2011년까지 국내에서 이루어진 장애아동 가족지원 프로그램에 대한 연구를 분석함으로써 향후 장애아동 가족지원 프로그램의 실행에 대한 연구의 방향과 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 분석 대상으로 선정된 논문은 총 28편이었으며, 이를 연구 대상, 연구 방법, 독립변인, 종속변인으로 나누어 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 연구 대상의 참여자는 어머니, 장애영역은발달장애, 학교급은 유아가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났으며, 연구 방법은 집단연구가 가장 많았고,평가도구는 비표준화 검사도구 중 국외검사도구를 번역하여 사용한 경우가 대부분이었다. 중재회기는 6~10회기, 중재장소는 학교 및 개별 치료실에서 이루어진 경우가 많은 것으로 나타났다. 독립변인은 부모를 대상으로 정보적 지원과 정서적 지원이 제공된 경우가 많았고, 설명 및 강의 의 방법이 많이 사용되었다. 종속변인은 부모의 스트레스와 양육효능감을 위한 연구가 가장 많았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 연구동향에 대한 논의와 후속연구에 대한 제언을 하였다.

This study reviewed studies that examined family support programs for children with disabilities in Korea. Based upon the criteria identified in this study, a total of 28 articles were included in this literature review. Once selected, each study was analyzed based upon following variables: (a) study participants, (b) study method, (c) key beneficiaries, contents, and types of family support programs, and (d) outcomes of family support programs. The key findings are as follows. First, in terms of study participants, mothers of children with disabilities, children with developmental disabilities, and preschoolers were main participants. Second, in terms of study method, the quasi-experimental study was the dominant research method. The most frequently used measurements were nonstandardized measurements that were translated into Korean. Also, the most commonly used intervention sessions were six to ten sessions and a number of studies were taken place in schools and individual clinics. Third, the primary beneficiaries of family support programs were parents; these parents were mainly provided either informational or emotional supports. The most frequently used ways to offer family support programs were conferences and classes. Lastly, the main outcomes of family support programs included reduced parents' levels of stress and improved parenting efficacy. Based on these findings, implications for the future studies were discussed.
