재활복지 전문 인력의 장애인에 대한 태도 및 관련변인 연구

Attitudes of Rehabilitation Professionals Toward People with Disabilities and Its Related Variables

본 연구는 재활복지 전문 인력의 장애인에 대한 태도를 조사하기 위하여 사회복지사, 상담사, 간호사 및 치료사를 대상으로 장애인에 대한 태도의 차별성을 검증하고 태도관련 변인들을 살펴보기 위하여 실시되었다. 총 173명의 남녀 재활복지 전문인력들이 본 연구에 참여하였고, 조사도 구로는 일반인의 장애인에 대한 태도를 측정하는 SADP(Scale of Attitudes toward the Disabled Persons)가 사용되었다. 연구 결과, 사회복지사들은 치료사들보다 태도점수가 통계적으로 유의미 하게 높았으나 상담사와 간호사들 간 태도점수의 평균차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. SADP의 세 하위 척도들 가운데 낙관-인권척도(OH)에서만 집단 간 유의미한 태도점수의 차이가 발견되었다. 성별 요인은 본 연구에서 유의미한 결과를 보여주었으나 교육수준 및 친분관계 여부는 태도점수상 차이점이 발견되지 않았다. 본 연구의 시사점 등이 논의되었다.

This study was performed to exam the attitudes of rehabilitation professionals toward people with disabilities and the attitude variables, including gender, years of education, and contact experiences. The rehabilitation professionals are consisted of social workers, professional counselors, nurses, and therapists. A total of 173 rehabilitation professionals participated in this study, and the Scale of Attitudes for the Disabled Persons(SADP) was utilized to measure mean differences of the groups and properties of its related variables. The study results indicated that the social workers revealed more positive attitudes toward individuals with disabilities than the therapist group, however no difference were found between other professional groups. Only Optimism-Human Right scale(OH) was found to have group difference in subscale categories, and a gender difference was found. Suggestions were discussed.
