논리적 텍스트 읽기 지도 연구

An action research on reading of expository texts in high school

이 연구의 목적은 논리적 텍스트 읽기 지도 방법을 제안하는 것이다. 논리적 텍스트는 자아의 성숙과 학문적, 사회적 소통에 사용되는 자료이다. 이것을 정확하게 해석하고 평가하는 것은 가벼운 잡지를 읽는 것보다 복잡하고 어려워서 저절로 발달될 것이라 기대하기 어렵다. 때문에 학생들이 성숙한 사회 구성원으로 살아가는 데 필요한 논리적 텍스트 읽기 능력을 발달시킬 수 있는 구체적 방안이 필요하다. 논리적 텍스트를 바르게 해석하고 평가하기 위해서는 구조를 분석하여 논리적 관계를 파악할 수 있어야 한다. 이를 위해 본고에서는 요약과 논증 분석 활동을 중심으로 읽기 수업을 설계하였다. 지도 방안을 적용한 결과, 요약과 분석 활동은 텍스트를 구성하는 관념들의 관계를 파악하게 함으로써 텍스트 해석에 도움이 되었다. 그런데 요약하며 읽기는 텍스트의 논증 과정을 파악하는 데 한계가 있었다. 한편 전제-결론 관계로 텍스트를 분석하는 논증 분석하며 읽기는 텍스트를 정확하게 해석하고 타당하게 평가하는 데 도움이 되었다. 또 논증을 이해하고 적용하는 연습을 포함하고 있어 논증을 실제 의사소통에 활용하는 경험으로 가치가 있었다.

This study aims to suggest teaching method for reading a expository text. Expository text is using to self-growth and academic communication, social communication. Interpreting and evaluating correctly that is more complex and difficult than reading a magazine. So, it is difficult to hope development the ability of that by itself. Because, method for developing the expository text reading ability that essential to live as mature community member is needed For Interpreting and evaluating the expository text correctly should be able to understanding logical relation through analyze text structure. So design reading lesson that mainly summarizing and analyzing. Result of applying that teaching method, summarizing and analyzing are given a clear idea relation that compose the text, so, effective to understanding the expository text. But, reading method of summarizing is limited for understanding argumentation. By comparison, reading method of analyzing argumentation is helping for interpreting and evaluating the logical text correctly. Moreover, that method contain exercising of understanding and applying of argumentation, so, it is valuable for experience that using argumentation in actual communication.
