사고구술 전략이 한국어 학습자의 읽기 능력에 미치는 영향

This study aimed to examine the effect of think aloud strategy as one of reading strategies on the Korean learners’ reading ability. Some studies have found that students used the think aloud strategy got higher score in reading test than students did not. Based on those study results, this study intended to find and compare the reading ability progress of learners before and after getting think aloud training and used it when reading. Then to examine the effect of think aloud on learner’s reading strategy. This study found that thin aloud training in both groups has shown significant result on the reading progress. However, the difference of the pre-test and post-test score between two groups has defined that think aloud more useful for intermediate learners than advanced learners. It is also found that the learners’ reading strategy is extremely restrictive, and the characteristic of reading according to proficiency grade did not find. In conclusion, the study found that think aloud has helped in reading learning, and based on this result, it is expected that think aloud will have a positive effect on reading teaching and learning.
