This study assessed the status of the tourism activities and services in Surigao Del Sur. The study used the descriptive-survey design. It was deemed appropriate considering that the strategy assessed present condition particularly the tourism activities and tourism services of Surigao Del Sur. The participants were the seventeen(17) Sanggunian Bayan(SB) assigned as tourism officers in-charge of the municipalities of Surigao Del Sur, and one hundred(100) local and foreign tourists. Total population of SB participants was considered while the tourist participants were chosen using purposive-convenient sampling. Sample size of tourist participant was based on quota sampling technique where the population of interest did not have a defined sampling frame.
