비디오 모델링 기법은 장애학생들의 사회성 및 의사소통 기술, 기능적 기술, 그리고 행동 기능을 중재하기 위해 활용된 매우 효과적인 중재 기법이다. 본 연구의 목적은 지적장애 초등학생에게 생활가전제품(전기포트, 세탁기, 전기밥솥) 사용을 교수하는데 있어 비디오 모델링 기법의 효과를 살펴보는데 있다. 연구대상은 지적장애 초등학생 1명이고, 중재는 특수학급의 중간놀이 및 점심시간, 방과후 학교 수업을 활용하여 약 2개월간 이루어졌다. 연구 설계는 단일대상연구의 행동간 중다 간헐 기초선 설계 방법을 사용하였으며, 연구결과 비디오 모델링 기법은 지적장애 초등학생의 생활가전제품 작동기술 향상에 긍정적인 효과가 있었다. 이러한 결과는 교육공학 및 일상생활기술 교수 관점에서 논의되었으며, 지적장애학생의 가정생활 기술을 증진시키는 즉, 독립적인 일상생활을 위한 교육프로그램을 구성하는데 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
The video modeling is effective intervention strategies for addressing social-communication skills, functional skills, and behavioral problems in children with disabilities. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of video modeling on using the electric home appliances(an electric kettle, a washing machine, an electric rice cooker) of elementary student with disabilities. The participant of the study was one elementary student with intellectual disabilities. The intervention was implemented in the resource room. A multiple baseline design across behaviors was used to investigate the effectiveness of the intervention. The result of this study was as following. The video modeling improved the using the electric home appliances of elementary student with intellectual disabilities. The result of the study was discussed in the perspective of educational technology for students with intellectual disabilities, and can be used to plan and implement successful daily living skills program.
