AInternationalization Strategy of Korean New Venture Firms in China

The objective of this study is to find out the determinant of international strategy of Korean venture firms in China by using a sample of 112 Korean firms based on technological resources, top management team(TMT) advantages and location choice. The results of the statistical analysis provide the followings. This study suggests that technological capabilities which include technological resource and R&D spending, TMT which possessing similar country international experience, new venture experience and TMT size have positive effects on Korean new venture firms' entry into China. However, prior international experience doesn’t have any positive effect on Korean new venture firms' internationalization. Finally, location was found to have a positive impact on Korean new venture firms' internationalization.
