국내 지속가능발전교육(ESD) 연구동향

Research Trends in Domestic ESD: Focused on the Theses and the Reports for about 10 years

본 연구는 ESD 연구 동향을 추적할 수 있는 기준을 소개하고, 최근 10여 년간 국내 지속가능발전교육 관련 연구 논문의 동향을 분석함으로써 ESD 연구를 되돌아보고, 앞으로의 연구 방향에 대한 시사점을 얻고자 하였다. ESD 연구 동향을 추적할 수 있는 분석 기준은 UNESCO에서 제시한 연구 주제 범위와 연구 대상으로서 학교급별 분포이다. 이에 따른 연구결과는 다음과 같다. ESD 관련 연구는 초등학교를 대상으로 교육과정, 교수학습방법을 주제로 한 연구가 가장 많았다. 그러나 ESD의 정립과 확산을 위해서는 ESD의 개념 및 비판적 담론 형성과 평생교육적 차원에서 직업교육과 시민교육으로의 연구가 활발히 진행될 필요가 있다.

This study is to introduce a standard to analyze the research trends in ESD. Analyzing the trends of ESD researches in Korea for about 10 years, this study is focused on reviewing the track of ESD researches and getting a certain direction for other ESD researches in the future. The standard to analyze ESD researches is a range of themes suggested by UNESCO and grades of school as a research object. The result is as follows. Researches about elementary school, curriculum, teaching & learning methods are the most frequent subjects in ESD researches. But researches about theoretical underpinnings and critical discourse of ESD and vocational & civil education as lifelong education are needed to be more active to establish the position of ESD and to spread ESD movement.
