한국과 일본의 디지털 교과서의 도입과 교사 커뮤니티에 의한 미술 교육의 확충

Introduction of digital textbooks in Korea and Japan, and expansion of art education through art teachers' communities

본고에서는 한국과 일본의 디지털 교과서의 전면 실시를 앞두고 국가 차원에서 추진되고 있는 대처 현황에 관하여 양국의 디지털 교과서 정책 및 사업 추진 과정， 학교 현장의 정보 환경 정비 상황， 연구학교의 효과성 분석 연구결과 등을 중심으로 개관하였다. 디지털 교과서 도입에 있어 주요 당면 과제로서， 저작권 처리 문제의 해결 및 디지털 교과서의 효과 제고를 위한 미술 교사의 디지털 교과서 활용의 전문성 강화를 제안하였다. 디지털 교과서 도입으로 인하여 풍부한 교수-학습 콘텐츠， 교수-학습 방법 등에 대한 지식과 정보를 공유하려는 교사의 요구가 높아지면서 온 • 오프라인 상의 미술 교사 커뮤니티가 자발적으로 생성， 발전하고 있다. 미국과 일본의 경우와 같이， 한국에서의 디지털 교과서 도입으로 인하여 발전하는 미술 교사 커뮤니티 중심의 미술교육의 변화 가능성을 탐색하였다.

This study describes the current status of and issues concerning the introduction of digital textbooks into all subjects in Korea and Japan. This research examines digital textbook policies and enterprises fulfilled at the various levels of government, the infrastructure arrangement of schools, and effects from implementing digital textbooks in schools. Moreover, the application of the Copyright Law to digital textbooks in Japan is focused on because of its importance in the publishing of art digital textbooks. In order to improve the effectiveness of digital textbooks in classrooms, it is suggested that the professional development of teachers needs to be strengthened. The need for quality content and qualified teachers is even more acute due to the introduction of digital textbooks in schools. Spontaneously, teachers in various countries have created online and offline communities: in Korea, in particular, these communities will play an essential role as a driving force in facilitating innovation in Korean art education. Based on the research findings in this paper, it is expected that art digital textbooks and culture of sharing knowledge and information developed by art teachers' communities will soon follow.
