미술과 교육과정분석을 통한 다문화미술교육 방향 연구

A Study on Multicultural Art Education based on the Analysis of the 2009 Revision of the Korean National Art Curriculum

본 연구의 목적은 최근 미술교육의 동향인 다문화 미술교육과 연계하여 2009개정 교육과정에 따른 미술과 교육과정을 분석하고 미술교육에서 다문화 교육을 어떻게 적용할 것 인지를 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 다문화 미술교육의 중요성을 강조한 맥피(Mcfee) 스튜어(Stuhr), 미국의 미 술 학회 (National Art Education Association)의 입장들， 교육과학기술부의 미술과 교사용 지도서 등을 통해 다문화 미술교육의 개념， 목표， 내용 등을 살펴보았다. 또한 이를 토대로 하여 다문화 미술교육 내용분석 틀을 구안하였으며， 이 틀을 통해 2009개정교육과정에 따른 미술과 교육과정의 목표，내용， 교수·학습， 평가 영역을 분석하였다 특히 각 영역별로 다문화 미술교육 내용이 어떻게 반영되었는지를 고찰하였다. 분석결과 2009개정미술과 교육과정에서 다문화 미술교육이 반영되긴 하였지만 체계적으로 반영되지 못하였고 미흡한 부분이 많이 보였다. 다문화 미술교육은 다양한 관점의 예술 작품을 통해 타문화에 대한 오해와 편견， 차별을 줄일 수 있고， 다양성이 공존하는 현실을 긍정적으로 수용하고 미래 사회를 살아가는 역량을 키울 수 있다. 그러므로 미술이 사회 문화작인 구성물이라는 다문화 미술교육의 관점을 반영하고 미술품이 만들어진 사회적 맥락에서 이해되고 재구성 되어야 하며， 교육과정에 체계적으로 다문화미술교육이 반영되어야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the 2009 Revision of the Korean National Art Curriculum in how it reflects the multicultural art education. Not only that provide suggested improvement to promote in relation to the multicultural education within primary art education. We have developed a framework from my studies of contemporary American Art Education Association and several prominent multicultural articles. By applying a framework for multicultural art education, 2009 Revision of the National Art Curriculum were analyzed. 2009 Revision of the National Art Curriculum of that curriculum objectives, content, teaching and learning, and assessment focusing on Multicultural art education that reflects how the contents were analyzed. And proposing effective direction of multicultural art education. Art can be a good medium of multicultural education, since a work of art can directly provide cultural values and principles. Multicultural Art Education can overcome prejudice and misunderstandings toward other cultures. In addition it enriches the ability that makes a student accept the reality in which they coexist with a diversity and empowers them to grow up with an open mind.
