대학생을 위한 어학교육기관의 서비스품질에 관한 연구

Study on the Quality of Language Education Services for University Students in Korea

오늘날 세계의 글로벌화로 인해 대학생들은 어학능력을 필수로 요구받고 있으며, 어학능력은 국제화사회에서 경쟁하는데 빼놓을 수 없는 필수적인 요소가 되었다. 이러한 국제화사회에서의 경쟁을 위해 대학교에서도 교내에 어학교육원을 설립하여 대학생들에게 다양한 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 또한 어학교육시장이 양적, 질적으로 성장함에 따라 대학생을 상대로 한 사설어학원도 꾸준히 설립되고 있다. 어학교육시장에서 사설어학원과 국립대 교내 어학원의 경쟁이 심화되고 있는바, 이 어학원들이 제공하는 교육서비스품질향상이 일차적이고 우선적인 문제라고 할 수 있겠다. 본 연구는 교육서비스를 제공받는 국립대에 학적을 둔 대학생을 대상으로 사설학원과 교내어학원을 비교하여 연구하였다.

With the growing demand for language abilities among university students and globalization of the world economy today, language skills become an essential component for students to be in a competitive edge in the international community. To survive in the fiercely competitive international market, many universities have established language institutes on campus to provide various language services to university students. As language education services are rapidly growing in numbers as well as in quantity all around country, private language education services have especially been dominant among all of them. Due to strong competition in language services between private language education area and university language services, quality of language education they provide become a primary concern for students. Multiple regression techniques were used to analyze important variables of educational services on the paper andmain participants of the survey are national university studentswho are offered to use language services.
