지체장애학생의 특수교육 관련서비스 수혜 실태조사

The Status about Related Services regarding Special Education of the Student with Physical Disability

본 연구는 지체장애 학생의 특수교육 관련서비스 수혜실태를 알아봄으로써 특수교육 관련서비스 개선에 실질적 도움과 기초자료를 제공하고자 하는데 연구의 목적이 있었다. 이러한 연구를 위해 전국의 지체장애 특수학교에 자녀가 재학 중인 183명의 학부모를 대상으로 설문지 조사를 실시하여 얻어낸 결과에 따른 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지체장애 학생의 특수교육 관련서비스 전반에 대한 수혜현황은 특정부분에 편중되어 있었다. 둘째, 지체장애 학생의 치료지원에 대한 수혜현황은 특정부분에 편중되어 있었다. 셋째, 지체장애학생의 보조공학기기 및 학습보조기기 지원에 대한 수혜현황은 대체로 제공받지 못하고 있다. 넷째, 지체장애학생의 보조인력 지원에 대한 수혜현황은 제공받고 있는 경우가 더 많았다.

The purpose of this study is to know about the status of related services regarding special education of the student with physical disability. For this study, we have conducted a survey on 183 parents of ten special schools for the student with physical disability across the nation. Our results are as follows; First, The status about related services regarding special education of the student with physical disability shows highly skewed tendency on some specific parts. Second, The status of physical therapy of the student with physical disability shows highly skewed tendency on some specific parts. Third, Supplementary equipments and tools to assist the students are rarely offered. Fourth, The service of special helpers for the students with physical disability was largely provided in many cases. Therefore, further researches on this matter based on this study can continue as follows; First, Special survey about the related services regarding the special education of the student with physical disability should be developed further. Second, Because we could not cover all the areas of related services, we need to study further on sub-areas of the related services. Third, We need to carry out further research to find out what the parents are thinking according to the degree of their children's disability in each area.
