중국 물류환경변화에 따른 우리 물류기업의 글로벌화 전략

Globalization Strategies of Korean International Logistics Firms for Entering into Chinese Logistics Market

The puipose of this study is to analyze the present situation and problems that Korean international freight forwarders are facing and to present efficient strategies for the globalizatioo of korean forwarders. Korean logistics providers have sorre problems such as small scale of organization and capital, decrease of income due to fierce competition, lack of transportatioo system and SOC, shortage in professionals in international logistics, business practice based on interpersonal business relationship rather than business capabilities between shippers and carriers and etc. It is necessaiy for international freight forwarders to be globalized. Government and shippers should do their best respectively to pursue the right policies for the globalization of international freight forwarders. The freight forwarders and government need to construct logistics networks, develop logistics markets actively, raise professionals in logistics, be global logistics providers and enlarge or specialize their services to overcome the serious competition in these rapid and immeasurable situations. Also shippers and freight forwarders need to do their business based on their business abilities to serve quality logistics services.
