International Airport needs to take more advanced role in becoming the main gateway of logistics in the Northeast Asian region and facilitate Korea to leap forward to become the major logistics center of the region. This research, through in-depth discussion with the industry experts and heavy literature review, has developed strategy assessment model (T-S model, 0-D model, Hub model) to assess the logistics hubbing strategy of international airports. This study have divided the industry experts (of airport and air logistics) into 6 groups (MLTM, IIAC, airlines, servisairs, forwarding companies, academies) and asked the experts to complete a interview. The models developed in this research - i.e. T-S model, 0-D model, and Hub model - can be used by governments and finns in the related industry when they build up policies or strategy in the international airport and air logistics field By using the strategy assessment model in this research, the related parties in the airport and air logistics industries can easily develop their priorities in building up policies and/or making strategic decisions. This study puts its main contribution in suggesting meaningful implications to the nation i.e. Korea, to realize its goal of leaping forward to become the major logistics center of the Northeast Asian region.
