초등 체육 수업 컨설팅의 활성화 방안 모색

Finding ways to vitalize physical education consulting

이 연구의 목적은 초등교사들의 체육 수업 컨설팅에 대한 경험 및 수용 의지, 체육 수업 컨설팅 활성화 방안에 대한 인식을 분석하여, 초등교사들의 전문성 신장과 초등 체육 수업의 질적 개선을 위한 체육 수업 컨설팅의 발전 방향을 탐색하는 것이다. 이에 따라 이 연구에서는 경기도 P시의 초등학교에 근무하는 교사 524명을 대상으로 성별, 교육 경력, 대학 심화 전공, 체육 교과 전담 교사 경험에 따른 체육 수업 컨설팅에 대한 경험 및 수용 의지, 체육 수업컨설팅 활성화 방안에 대한 인식을 설문지를 통해 조사하고 SPSS프로그램을 이용한 χ2검정을 통해 비교·분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 체육 수업 컨설팅을 받아본 경험이 있는 초등교사들은 극히 적은 것으로 나타났으나, 비교적 체육 수업 컨설팅의 수용 의지는 강한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 초등교사들은 체육 수업 컨설팅의 저해 요인으로 체육 수업 컨설팅에 대한 이해 부족, 교사들의 과중한 업무와 수업 부담으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 초등교사들은 체육 수업 컨설팅의 활성화 여건으로 전문성을 갖춘 컨설턴트 확보, 교사들의 자발적 참여 분위기 조성, 체육 수업 컨설팅에 대한 상세한 안내와 홍보, 체육 수업 컨설팅 참여를 위한 유인책 제공의 필요성을 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

This study was planned to exploring the future directions of physical education(P.E) consulting for the elementary school teacher' professional development and the quality improvement of elementary P.E by analyzing elementary school teachers' experience about P.E consulting, accepting P.E consulting and a way to vitalize P.E consulting. In order to achieve the results, a sample of 524 teachers who work in Gyeonggi-do P City elementary school participated in a questionnaire. And the elementary school teachers' experience about P.E consulting, accepting of P.E consulting and the way to vitalize the P.E consulting was inquired through the questionnaire with followings: gender, teaching experience, university intensive courses and experience in the P.E field. Then, the questionnaire was compared and analyzed through χ2 verification by using SPSS program. Conclusions were as follows: First, Experience in P.E consulting, The amount of the elementary school teachers who have received P.E consulting class were extremely low. Second, Recognition about utilizing P.E consulting, The elementary school teachers exhibited relatively strong willingness accepting P.E consulting. Lastly, Recognition of ways to vitalize P.E consulting, The elementary school teachers comprehended that the restraints of P.E consulting are lack of P.E consulting understanding and the heavy burden of the teaching work load. Based on these results, The elementary school teachers recognized that the preferred conditions for initiating P.E consultant includes expertise, the establishment of a voluntary teacher atmosphere, detailed information and promotion about P.E consulting as well as incentives for participating in P.E consulting.
