유치원과 초등학교 저학년 교육과정의 기본 움직임 활동 연계성에 관한 연구

Research for articulation of fundamental movement activity between kindergarten and lower elementary school grades

이 연구에서는 유치원과 초등학교 저학년(1, 2학년) 교육과정에 나타난 기본 움직임 활동의 연계성을 분석하였다. 현재 유치원의 ‘누리과정’과 초등학교 1, 2학년 ‘즐거운 생활’ 교과를 연구대상으로 하였으며, Gallahue와 Ozmun(2002)의 움직임 분류 모형과 Tyler(1949)가 제시한 계속성과 계열성을 준거로 연계성을 분석하였다. 기본 움직임 활동의 제시 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였고, 기본 움직임 활동의 연계성을 분석하였다. 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기본 움직임 활동의 제시 빈도는 이동운동(45.8%), 안정운동(37.4%), 조작운동(16.8%)의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 기본 움직임 활동 30개 요소 중 이동운동 3개 요소(걷기, 달리기와 뛰기), 안정운동 4개 요소(균형잡으며 걷기, 뻗기, 굽히기, 흔들기) 총 7개 요소에서만 연계성이 나타났으며, 조작운동에서는 연계성이 전혀 나타나지 않았다. 결론적으로 유치원과 초등학교 저학년의 기본 움직임 활동에 대한 연계성은 미흡한 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to analysis about fundamental movement activity by investigating the articulation between national curriculum for kindergarten and lower elementary school grades. The subjects of this study which were sampled ‘physical activity·health’of ‘Nuri curriculum’ and ‘physical activity’ of first and second grade textbook of ‘Pleasant Life’. Data were collected through the model of movement based on Gallahue & Ozmun(2002) and curriculum articulation of Tyler(1949). The frequency and percent of fundamental movement activity were examed. Based upon the result of this study, the following conclusions were drawn as follows: Frist, the frequency of fundamental movement activity has been ordered in locomotion (45.8%), stability(37.4%), manipulation(16.8%). Second, in 30 items of fundamental movement activity there was 3 locomotion items(walking, running, jumping), 4 stability items(stabilized walking, reaching, bending, swing). So there was articulation on 7 items. In manipulation, there was no articulation at all. Finally, there was a few articulations of fundamental movement activity in kindergarten and lower elementary school grades.
