유치원 교육과정에 나타난 환경관 탐색

The exploration of world view in Korea National Kindergarten Curriculums about the environment

본 연구에서는 유치원 교육과정에 나타난 환경관을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 1차부터 누리과정까지 유치원 교육과정과 해설서등 20권의 교육과정 관련 문헌을 내용 분석하였다. 수집된 문헌 중 자연환경과 관련된 내용이 제시된 부분을 추출하여 분석단위로 정하고 추후 내용을 분석하여 4가지로 범주화 하였다. 유치원 교육과정에는 자연환경이 과학적 지식과 탐구의 대상, 보호관리해야 할 과업, 감상해야 할 작품, 존중해야 할 생명체 등 4가지 의미로 표현되고 있었다. 첫째, 유치원 교육과정에서는 자연환경을 유아가 습득해야 할 과학적 기본 개념이나 탐구 주제로 나타내고 있었다. 둘째, 유치원 교육과정에서는 자연환경을 유아가 오염되지 않도록 관리해야 할 과업으로 나타내고 있었다. 셋째, 유치원 교육과정에서는 자연환경을 유아가 아름다움을 느낄 수 있는 시각적 대상으로 나타내고 있었다. 넷째, 유치원 교육과정에서는 자연환경을 유아가 존중해야 할 필연적인 생명체로 나타내고 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과에 의해 유치원 교육과정에서 총체적이고 동반자적인 관계의 환경관을 제시할 것을 시사하였다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the view of Korea National Kindergarten Curriculum about the environment. In this study 20 documents such as the National Kindergarten curriculum and the manual were analyzed. The results are as follows. The environment was shown in the subject of scientific knowledge and investigation, duty to manage, art-work to enjoy and life to respect in National Kindergarten Curriculum. First, the curriculum introduces nature environment to the subject of scientific knowledge and investigation. Second, the curriculum suggests that children have their duty to keep our nature unpolluted. Third, the curriculum presents nature environment as art-work to enjoy for aesthetic experience. Fourth, the curriculum introduces nature environment to life to respect. The results imply that it is necessary to suggest consistently overall environmental world view including companionship in all content-area of the National Kindergarten Curriculum.
