교직과정 예비교사양성을 위한 학습자지원체제

Student support system for pre-service teacher training course at University

일반대학 교직과정은 사범대학에 비해 상대적으로 교육여건과 대학 내 지원이 취약한 경우가 많다. 본 연구는 일반대학 교직과정에서 유능한 예비교사를 양성하기 위한 하나의 방안으로 효과적인 학습자지원체제를 구축할 것을 제안하였다. 학습자지원은 학습자들이 원활한 대학생활을 유지하고 의도한 학습 성과를 이루도록 지원하는 학술적, 정서적, 행정적 지원을 의미한다. 최근 대학의 산업화와 공동체 문화의 쇠퇴 속에서 체계적인 학습자지원은 대학 경쟁력을 높이고 고등교육의 질을 제고하는 효과적인 방안으로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 학습자지원체제의 개념과 등장배경을 소개하고, 교직이수자가 교직이수 여부를 선택할 시점부터 교원자격증 취득 후 임용고사를 준비하는 과정에 이르기까지 유기적인 학습자지원체제를 구축하는 방안으로써 교직과정 차원, 전공 차원, 단과대학 차원, 대학 전체 차원의 학습자지원이 이완결합의 형태로 연결된 프레임워크를 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to provide the framework of the student support system for pre-service teacher of teacher training course at university. Based on the industrialization of universities and the decline of community culture among students, students support system appears to have developed from a university policy that aims to improve the existing quality of teaching and learning. Student supports belongs to the academic support and non academic support such as emotional and administrative dimension. Recently, some universities try to provide the systematic student support by combining student support programs and services to the system. The pre-service teacher course of non-teachers' college requires the construction of student support system for those who are considering to enroll in this course. The support system will continues until the time they graduate and prepare to take the teacher recruitment examination. According to the need of students and course requirements, the division of pre-services teacher course will design a loosely coupled system for student support which combines the programs, services, policies, people, and organizations in universities and communities. This study will contribute to the improvement of education quality in the pre-service teacher course of non-teachers' college.
