다문화교육과 학교 문화 혁신에 관한 연구

이 논문은 일반적인 학교(조직)문화(풍토)에 대한 선행연구를 토대로 다문화교육을 위한 현재의 학교 문화의 문재점을 진단하고, 다문화교육을 위한 학교 문화 혁신 모형을 개발하여 다문화교육을 위한 학교 문화 혁신 실천 방안을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 주요 분석 결과로 현재의 학교문화는 수동적인 학생문화, 위계서열의 교사 문화, 경쟁 위주의 교실문화, 교과서를 중심으로 한 강의 위주의 수업 문화I 학교와 분리된 학부모 문화로 인하여 다문화교육을 위한 실시하는데 어려움이 있음을 밝혔다. 따라서 다문화교육을 위한 학교 문화 혁신을 위해서는 다음의 다섯 가지가 필요함을 제시하였다. 첫째, 소극적ㆍ수통적인 존재가 아닌 능동적ㆍ자발적 주체자로서의 학생 문화 혁신 둘째, 지시-이행의 방관자적 입장에서 학교의 주체자임을 인식하는 교사 문화 혁신 셋째, 이기주의, 개인주의적 문화에서 배려하고 함께하는 교실 문화 혁신 넷째, 수동적인 학습에서 벗어나 학생들이 참여하는 수업 문화 혁신 다섯째, 이기적 참여가 아닌 학교의 구성원으로서 능동적으로 참여하는 학부모 문화 혁신

The purpose of this research is to diagnose problems of the current school culture based on preceding researches on multicultural education and general school(organization) culture (climate), and to give a help in achieving innovation of school culture for multicultural education through examination on cases of school culture innovation by suggesting an action plan for school culture innovation for multicultural education. The following major results could be obtained by analyzing it as above. it was concluded that the present school culture has difficulty in carrying out multicultural education because of passive student culture, rank and grade -oriented teacher culture, competition-oriented classroom culture, textbook-oriented class culture and student's parents culture separated from a school. And the action plans of school culture innovation for multicultural education can be suggested as follows. First, the student culture innovation is necessary. Second, the teacher culture innovation is necessary. Third, the classroom culture innovation is necessary. Fourth, the class culture innovation is necessary. Fifth, the cultural innovation of student's parents is necessary.
