The traditional bomun symbol doesn't have only an aesthetic meaning but also a meaning of lucky. By adding the meaning of Korean traditional color, obangsaek, to use the meaning of lucky and grafting hair up style which can be displayed in variety of weddings, awards ceremonies and hair shows, to develop creative hair-up style that attracts hair artists and customers's attention, we develop a new design which can be useful in a salon. In this study, a total of nine pieces of the traditional bomun symbols including a piece of Buddhist bomun, a piece of Taoist bomun and seven pieces of Japbo bomun are applied and manufactured. There are Cintamani, Bounmun, Ruyi, Bo, Wajam, Jeon and Swastika symbols for Japbo bomun, a lotus flower symbol for Buddhist bomun and Seonja symbol for Taoist bomun symbol. This researcher uses it to design as creative up style by using the symbolism, obangsaek and plate of the traditional bomun symbol. For the hair up style design, there were traditional hair colors such as purple, light purple, pink, black, blue, green, orange and yellow the hair expresses bomun symbol by using bang, loop and braid tying up in front and on the T.P, G.P, B.P and N.P.
