Comparison of Color Correction Effects between Concealer and Foundation on the Dark circle Site

In this study, we examined the color correction effects of concealer and foundation depending on the individual's skin color and dark circle in 90 women. Measurement sites are their forehead, cheek and Dark circle site using spectrophoto-meter(Minolta CM-700d). After applying 4 difference colors of concealer and foundation on the dark circle site, we measured colorimetric values with CIE color system and analyzed by statistical methods. The results of this study are as follows; Color of dark circle sites have a little more dark tone than the skin color, sites of cheek and forehead. Which are especially lightness and redness. Color correction of Concealer was more effective than Foundation on the dark circle sits. Depending on Skin color types, in bright tone skin type, Concealer effect was more covered than Foundation. In dark tone skin type, color correction effects of Concealer and Foundation are similar.
